Jacketed Y-type stop valves/straight-through stop valves play an important role in cutting off and throttling the medium in the pipeline. Jacketed Y-type stop valves/straight-through stop valves have two structural forms: valve core type and plunger type. See the diagram for details.

The valve core type has a short stroke when switching, and for large-diameter valves, the switching speed is fast, saving time and effort.

The plunger type structure can be completely removed from the discharge area, ensuring complete discharge. Because the opening and closing of the plunger can keep the valve cavity clean, the plunger valve is suitable for the processing of slurry media. For systems that require full-bore valve operation, the plunger type is more suitable than the valve core type.

The inner surface of the flow passage is mirror-polished, further improving the smoothness of the passage. The operation method of the jacketed Y-type stop valve/straight-through stop valve can be pneumatic, electric, or manual according to customer requirements.
