Necessity and function of sintered drill filter element. The main function of the sintered mesh filter is to filter hydraulic oil. Various impurities inevitably occur in the hydraulic system. Let's learn about the advantages of sintered drill filter elements!

Advantages of Sintered Drill Filter Elements
1. High filtration accuracy
The dust concentration of waste gas can be controlled below 5mg/m3. In high-concentration dust removal systems, with a filter pore size in the micrometer range, dust particles larger than 0.1m can be effectively captured, with a capture efficiency of up to 99.999%.
2. Long lifespan
Sintered plates use different formulas and raw materials, suitable for use under different operating conditions. Previously, there were customers who did not replace them for more than 13 years.
3. Strong self-cleaning ability
The structure allows the back-flushing gas to directly act on the filtered powder, without buffering, resulting in a good back-flushing effect. In addition, using a new generation of enhanced PTFE coating makes the surface of the sintered plate denser and smoother, resulting in high filtration accuracy and improved ash removal capability.
4. Stable pressure
Because the surface of the sintered plate has undergone in-depth processing, its pores are small, uniform, and very smooth, making it difficult for dust to penetrate and remain, maintaining a good cleaning effect. Secondly, the equipment resistance is very stable, with almost no change in pressure loss and operating time.
5. Small footprint
The sintered plate occupies 1/3-1/6 the space of a bag dust collector, and the setting area can be reduced by overlapping. The filter surface is corrugated, and the filtration area of a single plate is 2-3 times that of a filter bag of the same volume.
6. Convenient installation and maintenance
The installation and replacement of the sintered plate is very convenient. Simply open the inspection door of the dust collector, tighten the two bolts fixing the sintered plate, and the assembly of one filter plate is complete. Almost no maintenance is required in daily production. The sintered plate is a very important filter element in sintered plate dust collectors used for gas-solid separation. The sintered plate is made by sintering special high-polymer composite materials and compatible supporting materials in a special high-temperature furnace. After sintering, the matrix has irregular and completely interconnected pores. Only gas passes through the pores, and particulate dust remains on its surface, achieving dust removal and filtration.
The surface of the sintered plate is coated with a reinforced PTFE resin film, which has a strong self-cleaning function and can effectively prevent dust adhesion during operation. In addition, gas back-flushing technology is used for automatic ash removal, ensuring stable pressure loss. Many sintered plates have a rectangular structure, and the filtering part has a corrugated plate structure, increasing the effective area of dust removal and filtration.
The main sources of sintered drill filter elements are mechanical impurities remaining in the hydraulic system after cleaning, such as rust, molding sand, welding slag, iron filings, paint, paint skin, and cotton yarn scraps; impurities entering the hydraulic system from the outside, such as the oil filling port and dust ring; and impurities generated during operation, such as fragments formed by the hydraulic action on seals, metal powder generated by relative wear, and colloids, asphalt, and coal slag generated by the oxidation and deterioration of oil. When the above-mentioned foreign matter mixes into the hydraulic oil, it will cause damage everywhere due to the circulating action of the sintered mesh filter, seriously affecting the normal operation of the hydraulic system, such as the small gaps (units) between the relatively moving parts in the hydraulic components and the blockage of throttle holes and gaps. It destroys the oil film between the relatively moving parts, damages the gap surface, increases internal leakage, reduces efficiency, increases heat generation, and accelerates the chemical action of the oil, causing the oil to deteriorate. According to production statistics, more than 75% of sintered mesh filter system failures are caused by impurities mixed into the hydraulic oil. Therefore, maintaining clean oil and preventing oil contamination is crucial for the hydraulic system.
